The hit BBC show, Sherlock, hit an all time ratings low in the UK last Sunday night on BBC One.
The second episode of the show’s three part fourth series attracted an overnight total of 6 million viewers according to Broadcast Magazine. That’s significantly below the 8.1 million viewers of the opening episode.
It is unknown at this point if the show starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman will return for a fifth season.
Next week’s conclusion will be a chance for Sherlock to recapture some of those lost viewers. The show is still much loved and a marquee title for the BBC.
