Bananaman movie coming in 2015

March 18, 2014 by admin

It looks like we can add another superhero movie to the 2015 schedule, with Den of Geek reporting that the classic British comic book character / children’s series Bananaman is heading to the big screen, with the website Bananamanmovie.com suggesting that we’ll “Peel the Power” next year.

Bananaman is the alter-ego of Eric Wimp (a.k.a. Eric Twinge), a young schoolboy who transforms into the fruity superhero when he eats a banana. The character first appeared as a comic strip in Nutty in 1980 before transferring to The Dandy and The Beano, while he also made the jump to the small screen for a BBC animated series which was produced between 1983 and 1986.

Are you excited about a Bananaman movie? Let us know in the comments below….
