Back in the 80s, as Warner Bros. prepared to bring The Dark Knight to the screen in Tim Burton’s Batman, a number of actors found themselves under consideration for the Caped Crusader prior to the casting of Michael Keaton, inlcuding Mel Gibson, Tom Selleck, Charlie Sheen, Kevin Costner and even Bill Murray. Another name on the list was that of Pierce Brosnan, and the former Bond has spoken about his decision to turn down the role during a Reddit AMA…
