With Avengers: Age of Ultron set to bring the curtain down on Phase Two of the Marvel Cinematic Universe this coming May, it’s surely only a matter of time before Marvel Studios kicks off the marketing campaign for Joss Whedon’s hotly-anticipated sequel. And, if FilmPro is to be believed, we’ll be getting the first trailer for the film alongside the release of Christopher Nolan’s upcoming sci-fi epic Interstellar, which opens in theaters on November 7th.
The first teaser for 2012’s The Avengers was released in October on 2011, and with Marvel Studios set to have a presence at the New York Comic-Con in a fornight (which will include the unveiling of Marvel’s first Netflix series Daredevil), I personally wouldn’t be surprised if we see the first trailer for Age of Ultron some time in the next two or three weeks. But, we shouldn’t have too long to wait either way…
Marvel Studios presents Avengers: Age of Ultron, the epic follow-up to the biggest Super Hero movie of all time. When Tony Stark tries to jumpstart a dormant peacekeeping program, things go awry and Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Incredible Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye, are put to the ultimate test as the fate of the planet hangs in the balance. As the villainous Ultron emerges, it is up to The Avengers to stop him from enacting his terrible plans, and soon uneasy alliances and unexpected action pave the way for an epic and unique global adventure.
