Official details of 20th Century Fox’s upcoming reboot to The Fantastic Four have been kept under lock and key with only few snippets and rumours here and there. One person who has been quite vocal about the movie is The Human Torch Michael B. Jordan, with the actor being very open about the criticisms of his casting due to his race. And now in a new interview, he’s let slip some details about the suits for Marvel’s First Family.
“It’s a new look. We are all in containment suits,” Jordan told ABC News. “The costume process definitely took some time to get in and out of that thing, especially since I was bulking up. It was a little more snug during filming. We got through it man. It was a process, but we did it. It was hard work.”
The look of the Fantastic Four has remained mostly unchanged since their debut in 1961, so will Josh Trank’s new vision be the first big change for them?
The Fantastic Four is set for release on August 7th 2015, with a Josh Trank (Chronicle) directing a cast that includes Miles Teller (Divergent) as Mr. Fantastic, Kate Mara (American Horror Story) as the Invisible Woman, Michael B. Jordan (Fruitville Station) as the Human Torch, Jamie Bell (Nymphomaniac) as The Thing, Toby Kebbell (Dawn of the Planet of the Apes) as Doctor Doom, Reg E. Cathey (The Wire) as Dr. Storm, and Tim Blake Nelson (The Incredible Hulk) as Harvey Elder.
