Director Christopher Nolan has dismissed the use of post-credits scenes in movies, which seems to have left some people a little upset. In an article on The Guardian, it is said that Nolan rejected the idea of a post-credits gag in Man of Steel, stating that: “A real movie wouldn’t do that.”
Marvel Studios is of course known for using post-credits scenes extensively and fans know to wait until after the credits to see what is in store. It has worked so well for Marvel, and allowed them to create an extensive film universe with all their movies linked.
With Nolan no longer involved with the future of the DC Cinematic Universe, it remains to be seen whether Warner Bros. will incorporate post-credits scenes going forward, but we’ll find out when Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice arrives in 2016.
