One of the most popular elements among certain fans (but not all ) from X-Men: Days of Future Past was the introduction of Evan Peters as the mutant Quicksilver. But as Bryan Singer gears up for the next movie in the franchise, X-Men: Apocalypse, will we be seeing Peters suit up as Quicksilver again?
“I think so, yes,” he told I Am Rouge. “I assume it as well, but I don’t know what I’m supposed to say and not supposed to say. I think…I don’t know what I can say and what I can’t say… All I can say is that I have not seen a script yet.”
One would assume that Peters would be back, perhaps with an older version of his younger sister Scarlet Witch, but if he is coming back then he’s keeping tight lipped about it.
X-Men: Apocalypse is set for release on May 19th, 2016 and stars X-Men veterans James McAvoy (Professor X), Michael Fassbender (Magneto), Jennifer Lawrence (Mystique), Nicholas Hoult (Beast), Evan Peters (Quicksilver) and Rose Byrne (Moira MacTaggert) alongside Oscar Isaac (Star Wars: The Force Awakens) as Apocalypse, Sophie Turner (Game of Thrones) as Jean Grey, Tye Sheridan (Mud) as Cyclops, Alexandra Shipp (House of Anubis) as Storm and Kodi Smit-McPhee (Dawn of the Planet of the Apes) as Nightcrawler.
