Samuel L. Jackson has two films left on his Marvel deal

February 12, 2015 by Gary Collinson

Following his post-credits appearance in Iron Man in 2008, it was confirmed that Samuel L. Jackson had signed a whopping nine-film deal with Marvel Studios to star as Nick Fury in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and now the actor has spoken to IGN about the current status of contract during a promotional interview for Kingsman: The Secret Service.

“I’ve only got two more movies in my contract. That might be the end of it unless I get an extension!”

Since Iron Man, Jackson has featured in Iron Man 2, Thor, Captain America: The First Avenger, The Avengers, and Captain America: The Winter Soldier, as well as featuring in two episodes of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and the upcoming Avengers: Age of Ultron. Clearly his Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. cameos haven’t counted in his deal, and with the star set to return for 2016’s Captain America: Civil War, that could potentially just leave one more outing for the super spy.

Would you like to see Samuel L. Jackson extending his contract with Marvel Studios?
