Since the announcement of Marvel and Sony reaching a deal so Spider-Man can feature in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, there has been a fair amount of speculation on who could play the friendly neighbourhood wall crawler. If reports are to be believed, Sony and Marvel are looking at Logan Lerman (Fury) and Dylan O’Brien (The Maze Runner) as the front runners.
Back before Andrew Garfield was cast as Peter Parker in The Amazing Spider-Man and The Amazing Spider-Man 2, one man who did audition for the role was Josh Hutherson (The Hunger Games). Now that the role is available again, would be interested in putting on the suit?
“Yeah, of course I’d think about doing it: It’s Spider-Man, that’d be really cool,” Hutcherson told Yahoo! Movies. “There’s not been any conversations about that, but who knows what would happen?”
