Last month it was reported that Jack Huston (Boardwalk Empire) had emerged as the frontrunner to replace the departed Luke Evans as Eric Draven in Relativity Media’s remake of The Crow, and now it seems we have confirmation of Huston’s casting.
Dread Central caught up with James O’Barr, creator of The Crow, at the Lexington Comic and Toy Convention this weekend, during which O’Barr is said to have stated that “Jack Huston has definitely been cast [and I’m] really happy with that choice.”
O’Barr went on to reveal that the Corin Hardy-directed reboot will shoot “in a couple of months” and is going to be a straight-up adaptation of his original graphic novel, rather than a remake of the 1994 Brandon Lee-headlined movie.
