As Warner Bros.’ Suicide Squad gears up to go into production, it is being reported that director David Ayer has added two more names to the cast of the DC supervillain ensemble.
According to eTalk, Clint Eastwood’s son Scott Eastwood (Fury) has confirmed his involvement in the film, which comes as little surprise given that he’s been spotted around Toronto with Cara Delevingne, who is to play The Enchantress. Meanwhile, The Toronto Sun is reporting that boxer and actor Ray Olubowale (Resident Evil: Afterlife) will also feature, with speculation linking him to the part of King Shark, although no official details have been announced on either role.
Suicide Squad is set for release on August 5th 2016, and features a cast that includes Joel Kinnaman (RoboCop) as Rick Flagg, Will Smith (Hancock) as Deadshot, Jai Courtney (Terminator: Genisys) as Captain Boomerang, Margot Robbie (The Wolf of Wall Street) as Harley Quinn, Jared Leto (Dallas Buyers Club) as The Joker and Viola Davis (How to get Away with Murder) as Amanda Waller. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice star Jesse Eisenberg is also expected to reprise the role of Lex Luthor, while Jay Hernandez (Hostel), Scott Eastwood (Fury) and Ray Olubowale (Resident Evil: Afterlife) have joined the cast in as-yet-unrevealed roles.
