On the eve of the UK release of Avengers: Age of Ultron [read our spoiler free review here], Elizabeth Olsen has confirmed during a Meet the Filmmakers event in London’s Apple Store that she is set to return to the role of Wanda Maximoff – a.k.a. the Scarlet Witch – in next year’s Phase Three-launching Captain America: Civil War.
Olsen becomes the latest in an ever-expanding list of Marvel veterans for Civil War, with the cast also set to feature Chris Evans (Steve Rogers/Captain America), Robert Downey Jr. (Tony Stark/Iron Man), Anthony Mackie (Sam Wilson/Falcon), Jeremy Renner (Clint Barton/Hawkeye), Scarlett Johansson (Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow), Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury), Sebastian Stan (Bucky Barnes/The Winter Soldier) and Frank Grillo (Brock Rumlow/Crossbones). Meanwhile, Chadwick Boseman (Get on Up) will give a big screen debut to T’Challa/Black Panther and Daniel Bruhl (Rush) will feature as a new villain, rumoured to be Baron Zemo.

Avengers: Age of Ultron opens in the UK tomorrow and in the States on May 1st, while Captain America: Civil War is set to arrive in the UK on April 29th 2016 in the UK and May 6th in the States.
