As it continues its march towards the billion dollar mark, Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron opened in China yesterday, pulling in a whopping 95.5% of all box office takings to debut with $33.9 million.
That’s a record opening day for Marvel in that market, and is almost double the opening of Iron Man 3, and more than 2012’s The Avengers made in its first day.
