Some bad news for Hellblazer fans tonight, as showrunner Daniel Cerone has revealed via Twitter that NBC has declined the opportunity to pick up the supernatural DC series Constantine for a second season.
Despite the cancellation, there may still be a glimmer of hope for Matt Ryan’s supernatural detective, with Warner Bros. apparently searching for a new home for the show.
Previous rumours had suggested that Syfy could be interested in picking up the series for a second season, although that talk was subsequently debunked.
