Yesterday it was announced that production is underway on the third instalment of the Star Trek franchise – reportedly titled Star Trek Beyond – but it seems that Paramount Pictures is already looking further ahead on the five year mission.
According to reports, the cast of Star Trek 3 have signed new contracts giving them bumper pay rises over the previous movies, while a condition for both Chris Pine and Zachary Quinto was an option for a fourth movie, with Paramount keen to lock in the pairing of Kirk and Spock for another sequel.
