The CW’s upcoming Arrow and The Flash spinoff DC’s Legends of Tomorrow is yet to even receive an official premiere date, but it seems the network could be planning to give it its own spinoff series.
According to SpoilerTV, The CW is in the very early stages of development on a Hawkgirl series, which would see Ciara Renee making the jump from DC’s Legends of Tomorrow to her own show. The site goes on to report that it would most likely skip the pilot stage and go straight to series order.
It does seem very early to be talking about a Hawkgirl spinoff, so it’s probably worth taking this with a pinch of salt for the time being. Still, The CW clearly has ambitions of further extending its DC output, meaning that a Hawkgirl series is certainly not beyond the realms of possiblity somewhere down the line.
UPDATE: Well, it looks like this report was inaccurate, as Ciara Renee has confirmed via Twitter that there are currently no plans for a Hawkgirl solo series.
