Back in May it was reported that NBC had pulled the plug on its DC / Vertigo series Constantine, but it seems we may not have seen the last of Matt Ryan’s supernatural detective as Arrow producer Wendy Mericle has revealed that there’s been talks about Matt Ryan making the jump to The CW for a guest role in Arrow season four.
“We really want to do it,” Mericle told IGN. “It’s something we’ve been talking to DC about and it’s just a question of some political things, but also the actor’s schedule. We’re trying to work it out, but we don’t know 100 percent if it’s going to happen. [We’re] really optimistic and we would love to have him.”
Arrow star Stephen Amell has been a big supporter of Constantine and was vocal earlier this year in an effort to help it secure a future, as well as revealing that he’d held talks with DC about possibly guest starring on the show as Oliver Queen before its cancellation.
