According to Screen Daily, production on the long-gestating, much-troubled remake of The Crow has been “suspended” following the bankruptcy of Relativity Media, with the site reporting that the crew have vacated the studio at Pinewood Cardiff following months of pre-production work.
The planned remake of the 1994 cult classic has went through a number of directors and actors over the past couple of years, with Jack Huston (Boardwalk Empire) the latest star to vacate the role of Eric Draven back in June.
Corin Hardy (The Hallow) is currently attached to direct the project, although given the financial state of Relativity its status remains unclear. However, Screen Daily quotes a source as suggesting that the company “ntends to move forward with producing and releasing” the film.
