Blade Runner 2 rumoured to be titled Androids Dream

September 23, 2015 by Gary Collinson

Over the past couple of weeks we’ve heard from both director Denis Villeneuve and cinematographer Roger Deakins about the upcoming sequel to Ridley Scott’s sci-fi classic Blade Runner, and now we have a possible title for the follow-up.

The BBC is suggesting that the film could be going by the title Blade Runner: Androids Dream, owing to the fact that the past few days have seen domain names registered for bladerunnerandroidsdreammovie.com and androidsdreammovie.com.

Androids Dream will of course be familiar to Blade Runner fans, with the original movie based upon the Philip K. Dick story Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?.
