On top of the news that Mad Max: Fury Road director George Miller was offered the chance to direct Man of Steel 2 (though the rumour there is that project is on permanent hold), a new rumour has surfaced today that Miller could direct another movie in the DC Cinematic Universe.
According to Heroic Hollywood – so take this news with a pinch of salt – George Miller has been offered the directors chair for Dark Universe, also known as Justice League Dark, which is a team-up movie involving the likes of Constantine, Swamp Thing, Zatanna, and Deadman. The site claims that Miller is yet to make a decision on which project he wants to take.
Justice League Dark was set to be directed by Guillermo Del Toro, before he vacated the production to focus on Pacific Rim 2, which is also rumoured to be kick-starting a Shared Kaiju Universe at Warner Bros.
