With Daredevil set to join Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and either Iron Fist or The Punisher (depending on whether the rumours are true), it was likely that The Man Without Fear would cross paths with his Defenders co-horts before their mini-series at some point. But if The Death of Superman Lives director John Schnepp is to be believed, it will be sooner rather than later.
“You’re definitely gonna see Matt Murdock in Jessica Jones,” Schnepp revealed on Collider Heroes. “That’s a fact. He’s in it. I don’t know how they interact, but he’s in the series.”
In the comics, Jessica Jones has used the services of Murdock in her legal troubles as a private investigator, so it could be Charlie Cox appearing in the show as a lawyer rather than in costume as Daredevil. There are scenes in the trailer where Jessica is talking with another victim of Kilgrave in an interrogation room, so could this be where Murdock shows up?
With that said, Schnepp is known for his hyperbolic style, so he could have just been stating his thoughts as fact rather than having any insider knowledge.
