Now that Marvel has secured a director in Taika Waititi (What We Do in the Shadows), development is picking up pace on Thor: Ragnarok, and so too is the rumour mill.
Earlier in the week there were claims that Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk will feature in the Thor threequel, and now Birth.Movies.Death is suggesting that Marvel Studios is looking to cast several female actresses as Valkyries.
The report goes on to state that Marvel may even use the film to introduce the superheroine Valkyrie, a.k.a. Brunnhilde, a character who made her debut in the comics back in 1970 and is a long time member of The Defenders.
Thor: Ragnarok will be released on July 28th 2017.
