Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg looking to adapt Garth Ennis’ The Boys as TV series

Not content with bringing Preacher to ABC, it seems that Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg are looking to adapt another Garth Ennis comic book series, with Birth.Movies.Death reporting that the duo are shopping a TV series based upon The Boys to cable networks.

Created by Ennis and Darick Robertson and published between 2006 and 2012, The Boys follows a CIA squad tasked with monitoring the superhero community and protecting ordinary folk from the heroes.

Back in 2008, Columbia Pictures optioned the series for a movie adaptation, which had Adam McKay (Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy) attached to direct.
