With production on the Prometheus sequel Alien: Paradise Lost set to get underway early in 2016, Variety is reporting that Ridley Scott is currently reworking the script with John Logan, the Oscar-nominated screenwriter behind Gladiator.

Logan – whose other credits include the likes of The Aviator, Hugo, Skyfall and Spectre – will be working on a script that has already been developed by Jack Paglen (Transcendence) and Michael Green (Green Lantern).
Alien: Paradise Lost is set for release on May 30th 2017, with Noomi Rapace and Michael Fassbender reprising their roles from Prometheus.
