It looks like X-Men fans will have a little longer to wait before the arrival of Fox and Marvel’s Hellfire TV series, with the project being pushed back after losing showrunners Evan Katz (24: Live Another Day) and Manny Coto (24), who have both departed in order to focus on Fox’s 24 spinoff 24: Legacy.
“It’s unlikely it would be the fall,” said Fox CEO Dana Walden. “Potentially midseason but no immediate plans. “We’re still working on Hellfire Club. Obviously those executive producers are very busy with the film franchise and the FX show, so not sure.”
Hellfire will follow a young Special Agent who learns that a power-hungry woman with extraordinary abilities is working with a clandestine society of millionaires – known as “The Hellfire Club” – to take over the world.
