Having passed on the opportunity to direct Marvel’s Black Panther, Selma director Ava DuVernay has now found her next project.
Entertainment Weekly revealing that the filmmaker is set to adapt Madeleine L’Engle’s 1963 time travel novel A Wrinkle in Time, working from a script by Jennifer Lee (Frozen).
A Wrinkle in Time “follows the Murry family, whose father goes missing while working on a mysterious tesseract, prompting his children to follow him across space and time.”
DuVernay is also in talks to direct another sci-fi project, Intelligent Life, which has Lupita Nyong’o (Star Wars: The Force Awakens) attached to star.
