Last week it was reported that Warner Bros.’ Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is tracking a $100 million to $140 million domestic opening weekend, and now Deadline is reporting that analysts are pointing to a worldwide opening in the range of $300 million to $340 million when it opens around the globe at Easter.
Should it end up around that mark, it would fall short of five previous superhero movies in The Avengers ($392.5 million), Avengers: Age of Ultron ($392.5 million), Spider-Man 3 ($381.7M) and Iron Man 3 ($372.5 million). However, it would be the biggest opening for a DC movie, a record currently held by The Dark Knight Rises on $248 million.
What are your predictions for Batman v Superman’s worldwide opening weekend? Me, I’m going to go higher than $340 million…
