Continuing along with the recent trend of actors stealing props related to their heroic persona (Ryan Reynolds kept the Deadpool costume, taking it home on the last day of shooting), Ben Affleck has confessed that he stole a Batarang from the set of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
“I downright stole one of the Batarangs,” Affleck tells Premiere Magazine. “The prop guy came to ask for it and I told him no. I believed that I had a kind of ‘movie star pass’ for this kind of thing. I kept a stiff upper lip and I flew away for Los Angeles!”
Director Zack Snyder seemingly didn’t mind, as he gave Affleck a grappling gun after finishing principal photography.
Basically, Ben Affleck is quickly amassing the necessary tools to become a real-life Batman.
