With Batman v Superman set to hit cinemas this Friday, Zack Snyder is now turning his attention to Justice League, and the director has been speaking to Collider about the big DC team-up, suggesting that Justice League Part One is just a working title, and teasing a couple of the locations we’ll see in the film.
“Right now the working title is Justice League,” states Snyder. “Actually, I’m in that phase where I’ve been drawing logos and I’ve been drawing title treatments and stuff like that to try and figure out what it means, what Justice League is, visually, so we’ll see if the name evolves with this visual presentation.”
“The schedule’s close, it’s not quite as long as [Batman v Superman], but give or take,” he continues. “We have a more efficient machine in England because we have a big backlot that we built for Gotham and Metropolis, so it’ll be easier to photograph than when you have to close down streets. But it’s a beautiful backlot.”
Justice League Part One and Part Two will reunite Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice stars Henry Cavill as Superman, Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Jason Mamoa as Aquaman and Ezra Miller as The Flash, while J.K. Simmons (Whiplash) will play Commissioner Gordon and Amber Heard (The Danish Girl) has been cast as Mera. Part One is set for release on November 17th 2017, with Part Two following on June 14th 2019.
