Deadline is reporting today that Paramount Pictures has announced a sequel to the hit comedy Daddy’s Home, which will reunite all the team behind the original.
Daddy’s Home was released in December last year and went on to gross over $240 million at the worldwide box-office. For the sequel, stars Will Ferrell (Anchorman) and Mark Wahlberg (Ted 2) are to reunite, and will re-team with the original’s director Sean Anders, who will once again co-write with John Morris.
While Ferrell and Wahlberg are returning, there’s no word yet on whether their co-stars Thomas Haden Church, Linda Cardellini and Hannibal Buress will also be reprising their roles from the first film.
