With question marks hanging over Daniel Craig’s future as James Bond, there’s been plenty of speculation as to which actor could succeed Craig in the role of 007.
Earlier this month, the bookmakers suspended betting on Tom Hiddleston following a flurry of bets on the Marvel star. Hiddleston was the latest in a long list of potential candidates for the next Bond, and now Deadline has thrown another name into the mix, reporting that Fantastic Four star Jamie Bell has discussed the role with Barbara Broccoli, who is producing Bell’s new movie Film Stars Don’t Die.
A rumour emerged a few weeks back suggesting that Daniel Craig had turned down a whopping $100 million deal for two more Bond movies, and while that report was denied, Craig’s commitments to the 20-epsiode TV series Purity means he has a pretty packed schedule ahead of him.
Bond 25 is currently without a director, script or distribution studio, with Sony’s deal with MGM and Eon Productions expiring after Spectre.
