Over the past week both Michael B. Jordan (Creed) and Lupita Nyong’o (12 Years a Slave) have signed on to appear alongside Chadwick Boseman in Marvel’s Black Panther movie, and now it looks like Nyong’o may be joined by her Star Wars: The Force Awakens co-star John Boyega.
Now, take this with a pinch of salt for the time being, but MovieCreedLive is reporting that Boyega is in talks to join the Phase Three release for an unspecified role. The rumour seems to be supported by social media, with Boyega posting on Snapchat that he was taking a mystery meeting, before following Marvel Studios’ Kevin Feige on Twitter.
Coincidence? I guess we’ll find out soon enough.
UPDATE: Boyega’s agent Femi Oguns has denied the rumour on Twitter:
My client @JohnBoyega will not be starring in Black Panther. Now for the news…
