If you’ve been itching to see the classic Joker origin story Batman: The Killing Joke play out on the big screen (and you’re based in the U.S.), then you’re in luck as Warner Bros. has announced that the R-rated DC Universe Animated Original Movie adaptation is set for a one-night-only theatrical release on July 25th.
Batman: The Killing Joke adapts Alan Moore and Brian Bolland’s seminal graphic novel, and reunites Batman: The Animated Series co-creator Bruce Timm with voice actors Kevin Conroy as Batman and Mark Hamill as The Joker, while the screenings will also feature an introduction from Hamill and a short documentary looking at his history with the Clown Prince of Crime.

Batman: The Killing Joke is set for release on Digital HD on July 26th and will hit Blu-ray and DVD on August 2nd.
