Hayley Atwell says she’s “100 percent” up for Agent Carter season 3

June 2, 2016 by Gary Collinson

Since ABC decided to cancel Agent Carter last month, almost 120,000 fans of the show have signed a petition urging Netflix to bring Peggy Carter to the streaming service for a third season, and speaking at MegaCon in Orlando, Florida, Hayley Atwell has said she’s “100 percent” up for a return.

“100 percent absolutely,” said Atwell. “I love Peggy. I love the people working on this project together. The fans are incredibly warm and welcoming, and it’d be an absolute privilege and honor to bring her back for fans.”

The actress also teased plans for the (currently) aborted third season, stating that: “There was talk of season three, which would have delved into her past a little bit more. The showrunners were talking about a possible twist, I suppose, into something to do with my family. They suggested that it would be all to do with my brother.”

Would Agent Carter make a good fit for Netflix, or have we seen enough of Cap’s best girl? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below…
