Marvel Studios has kicked off its Comic-Con panel tonight with Kevin Feige introducing Black Panther director Ryan Coogler, who revealed that production on the Chadwick Boseman-headlined solo movie will get underway in January.
The cast for the movie were then introduced, with Boseman joined on stage by Lupita Nyong’o (Star Wars: The Force Awakens), Michael B. Jordan (Fantastic Four) and Danai Gurira (The Walking Dead). It was revealed that Nyong’o is playing Nakia, while Jordan is Erik Killmonger and Gurira – who is a newly-announced addition to the cast – is portraying Okoye.

Black Panther is set for release on February 2nd 2018.
