The Punisher could appear in The Defenders

July 28, 2016 by admin

We’ve heard quite a bit from Marvel’s TCA press conference including the schedule for the post-Defenders line-up and why they passed on Agent Carter, and now we’ve got a nice little tease.

During the press conference, Netflix’s Ted Sarandos was asked if Jon Bernthal’s Frank Castle would feature in the team-up series The Defenders, to which he slyly replied, “stay tuned”.

The Punisher was a huge favourite from the second season of Daredevil, and his own spin-off show was announced shortly after the series debuted. With The Defenders bringing together Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist, is there space for a cameo from The Punisher?

The Defenders will assemble on Netflix in 2017, bringing together Charlie Cox’s Daredevil, Krysten Ritter’s Jessica Jones, Mike Colter’s Luke Cage and Finn Jones’ Iron Fist.
