Having finished wrapping Star Wars: Episode VIII, fans have been wondering when we’ll hear the official title for the movie. However according to Daisy Ridley, we won’t find out for “a while yet”.
“I heard a title, but I don’t know if it’s going to be that,” she told the presenters of My Dad Wrote a Porno. “I really don’t know much about anything.”
“I heard [the title] a long time ago before we started filming, and so I feel some things have slightly tweaked during [production],” she added. “It’s going to be a while before it’s released I imagine.”
When asked if Star Wars: Episode VIII was going to be good, Ridley replied, “I hope so. It’s weird because there is so much expectation now. Everyone is going, ‘you must be so less stressed’, and I’m like, ‘absolutely not.’ My neurosis was like 100 times worse than before.”
Ridley also confirmed that Rey would have a new outfit in the movie and teased a possible relationship for her character – presumably with John Boyega’s Finn.
Star Wars: Episode VIII is set for release on December 15th 2017 and sees returning cast members Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker), Carrie Fisher (Leia Organa), Adam Driver (Kylo Ren), Daisy Ridley (Rey), John Boyega (Finn), Oscar Isaac (Poe Dameron), Lupita Nyong’o (Maz Kanata), Domhnall Gleeson (General Hux), Anthony Daniels (C-3PO), Gwendoline Christie (Captain Phasma), Billie Lourd (Lieutenant Connix) and Andy Serkis (Supreme Leader Snoke) joined by new additions Benicio Del Toro (Guardians of the Galaxy), Laura Dern (Jurassic Park) and Kelly Marie Tran (Ladies Like Us).
