With Luke Cage set to arrive on Netflix in a few short hours, actress Simone Missick has revealed that we’ll be seeing more of Misty Knight next year, as she’ll be reprising the role for Marvel’s big team-up The Defenders.
“I believe I’m safe to say that I will be on The Defenders,” said Missick during an interview with The Wrap. “Spoiler alert! If I lose my job because of this interview, sorry! I was supposed to be on The Defenders, until I got fired.”

The Defenders will see Charlie Cox (Daredevil), Krysten Ritter (Jessica Jones), Mike Colter (Luke Cage) and Finn Jones (Iron Fist) joining forces, while Jon Bernthal (The Punisher) may also feature. The series will air on Netflix in 2017.
