Ben Affleck has been doing a lot of talking about his upcoming Batman solo movie this month; firstly he said that he’s still working on the script and is taking his time to get it right, before confirming that production is set to get underway in the Spring.
Well, now in an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Affleck has given another update on his progress, once again stating that he’s yet to finish the screenplay, and won’t move forward unless he’s fully satisfied that he’s making the best movie he possibly can:
“I’m still working on the script. I’m not going to write and direct anything that I don’t think is good enough to be made. I’m definitely going to make sure I have something that is special — there’s not enough money in the world to make a mediocre version of Batman worth it.”

Seems we’re getting a few mixed messages here, but for all we know Affleck could be very close to completing his script for The Batman, and confident that he can perfect it in time for cameras to start rolling next year.
