It has been revealed that star of TBS comedy series The Detour, Daniella Pineda, is set to star in the sequel to Universal’s juggernaut dino-sequel Jurassic World.
As revealed by Variety, Pineda has landed one of the new female starring roles for the fourth sequel to Steven Spielberg’s 1993 classic. Other new additions to the cast include Rafe Spall, Toby Jones and Justice Smith, while Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard return as Owen Grady and Claire Dearing.
We don’t know much in regards to plot for the Jurassic World sequel and we don’t know exactly who Pineda or any of the other new recruits will be playing.
We do know however that J.A. Bayona (A Monster Calls) is in the director’s chair and Frank Marshall, Pat Crowley and Belén Atienzawill be producing the flick.

Colin Trevorrow, who directed Jurassic World, has written the script with writing accomplice, Derek Connolly. Trevorrow will also receive an executive producer credit along with the franchise’s original director Steven Spielberg.
