Unlike the majority of stars in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Michael Douglas only signed a single film contract for his role as Hank Pym in 2015’s Ant-Man, but now we have confirmation from the man himself that he will be returning for the 2018 sequel Ant-Man and the Wasp., with Douglas posting the following to Facebook:

Douglas first revealed that he was in talks with Marvel way back in September 2015, so negotiations have either been very protracted, or Marvel had put them on the back burner while they juggle their multitude of Phase Three projects.
Ant-Man and the Wasp is set to begin shooting in July and will also see the return of Paul Rudd (Scott Lang), Evangeline Lilly (Hope Van Dyne) and Michael Pena (Luis). It is set for release on July 6th 2018.
