The 13 Ghosts series is seeming more and more real as the days go by, and with this latest story, we can expect a fleshed-out world for some of our favorite haunts.
In early August 2023, we reported that Patrick Mediate and Aaron McLane will develop and pitch their 13 Ghosts project to Sony Pictures Television in partnership with Dark Castle Entertainment.
Now, we are learning more details about the project, with Mediate giving new information to the horror website Bloody Disgusting.
Meditate tells Bloody Disgusting: “We do envision an entire universe for the 13 Ghosts: The Series franchise that lives on eternally after the first season and goes on to explore different planes of mortal and Post-Mortal realities; it’s actually going to be something pretty profound that could be an enormous testament to the worlds we lay the groundwork for with the first season.
Meditate adds, “Long and short, this is absolutely going to be a series with stories and three-dimensional characters that fans are going to want to join up with for multiple seasons.”
Little else is known about the planned series. Still, previous reports state that the series is being pitched as a thirteen-episode run with an ensemble cast, each exploring the origins of a different ghost.
