It took a while to get off the ground, but it seems that Lionsgate is confident that it has a hit on its hands with the upcoming big screen reboot of Power Rangers.
Speaking on a conference call (via Variety), Lionsgate CEO Jon Feltheimer has stated that: “We are really, really excited about the Power Rangers movie. We could see doing five or six or seven.”
The new film is being directed by Dean Israelite (Project Almanac) and will reimagine the origins of Saban’s Mighty Morphin Power Rangers as they battle the evil alien witch Rita Repulsa.
