With John Wick: Chapter 2 having pulled in $125 million and counting around the globe, it looks all but assured that Keanu Reeves will be back to close out the trilogy, and speaking to Empire, the star has offered his thoughts on what he’s like to see from John Wick: Chapter 3:
“I think the opening of the film should be Wick just trying to escape from New York,” states Reeves. “Literally trying to get off the island. Maybe he asks the Bowery King for help. Maybe John Leguizamo comes and helps me out. ‘John, I can’t do it, you’re excommunicado!’. Maybe the High Table shows up. And then the High Table starts firing guns. And then maybe this kind of thing starts to happen between the High Table and Continental? Maybe John is the activator of this confrontation, and perhaps there’s a war? Wouldn’t that be awesome?”

Director Chad Stahelski has previously stated that he’d like to finish the John Wick trilogy, although he’s recently signed on to direct the Highlander reboot, so we may have a little wait on our hands before we get more gun-fu insanity…
