Saw: Legacy plot details revealed, Tobin Bell returning

March 12, 2017 by Gary Collinson

The Saw franchise is set to make its return this October with Saw: Legacy, the eighth instalment in the horror series, and Bloody Disgusting is reporting that Tobin Bell will be returning as Jigsaw in some capacity, as well as revealing some plot details for the movie.

According to the site, Saw: Legacy “will begin with bodies turning up around the city, each having met a uniquely gruesome demise. As the investigation proceeds, evidence points to one man: John Kramer. But how can this be? The man known as Jigsaw has been dead for over a decade. Or has an apprentice picked up the mantle of Jigsaw, perhaps even someone inside the investigation?”

Saw: Legacy has been directed by Peter and Michael Spierig (Predestination), and features a cast that includes Mandela Van Peebles, Hannah Anderson, Laura Vandervoort, Brittany Allen, Callum Keith Rennie, Matt Passmore, Hannah Emily Anderson, Josiah Black, Shaquan Lewis, Michael Bolsvert, and James Gomez. It is set for release on October 27th.
