The sequel to Jurassic World is set to include an action orientated underwater sequence.
With the joyous news that fan favourite actor Jeff Goldblum will be returning to the series for Jurassic World 2, word has now arrived that the movie will include an underwater action scene – with a Submarine!
Actor Kevin Lane spoke to Management in Stage and Film about his role in the picture which will seem him portray a submarine pilot.
“I read for two parts, and ended up getting the role of ‘submarine pilot’, which was the role I wanted as it is quite an epic scene. So I should have a nice cinematic moment on screen in a massive studio film. Filming starts in May [so] hopefully I’ll be in one of their amazing contraptions, pretending that there’s dinosaurs around me. I’ve never worked with CGI before so it’s fun and challenging. But I can now say to people ‘You know there’s no dinosaur there right?’”
Lane certainly sounds pumped, and who could blame him, as the scene sounds like it will be a particularly exciting one, and will surely include a new friendly sea-based dinosaur to scare the pants off us.
