Christina Hendricks, Bailee Madison and Lewis Pullman cast in The Strangers 2

May 12, 2017 by Ricky Church

Some movement has finally come about for the long-discussed The Strangers 2, the sequel to the hit 2008 horror. Mad Men‘s Christina Hendricks has been cast in the film alongside Once Upon A Time’s Bailee Madison and Battle of the Sexes‘ Lewis Pullman.

Production on the film is said to start at the end of the month in Los Angeles. Johannes Roberts will direct from a script by Bryan Bertino and Ben Ketai. The Fyzz Facility Pictures’ Wayne Marc Godfrey, Robert Jones, Mark Lane and James Harris are producing from The Fyzz Facility Pictures in association with Relativity Media.

The Strangers 2 follows a family whose road trip takes a turn when they arrive at a secluded mobile home park and after the power goes out they decide to hunker down for the night in a borrowed trailer. Under the cover of darkness three familiar masked psychopaths pay them a visit to test their every limit.

As yet, there is no word on a release date for The Strangers 2, but we’ll keep you posted.
