WARNING: POSSIBLE SPOILERS BELOW…
Last week we saw a couple of photos from a fan who revealed that Chris Hemsworth and Mark Ruffalo had joined the set of Avengers: Infinity War [check out the photos here], and a new image now alludes to some connections to Avengers: Age of Ultron.
The below image [via MCU News] shows a statue which, on its own, is fairly innocuous. However on closer inspection, it’s the same statue that Thor saw during his Avengers: Age of Ulton nightmare vision. Many assumed that this nightmare would tie into the plot of Thor: Ragnarok, but this photo would assume that we’ll get our follow up in next year’s epic ensemble.

It is also worth noting that Valkyrie and a stand-in for Rocket Raccoon were also present for filming, so it could be possible that all of the aforementioned characters will be interacting with each other for one humongous key scene. What is for certain though is that Thor’s darkest fear of Asgard becoming Hel seems unavoidable.
Avengers: Infinity War opens on April 27th 2018 in the UK and May 4th 2018 in the US and will feature an all-star cast including Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Chris Evans (Captain America), Mark Ruffalo (Hulk), Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye), Chadwick Boseman (Black Panther), Tom Holland (Spider-Man), Sebastian Stan (Winter Solider), Anthony Mackie (Falcon), Paul Rudd (Ant-Man), Paul Bettany (Vision), Elizabeth Olsen (Scarlet Witch), Josh Brolin (Thanos), Benedict Cumberbatch (Doctor Strange), Benedict Wong (Wong), Chris Pratt (Star-Lord), Zoe Saldana (Gamora), Dave Bautista (Drax), Bradley Cooper (Rocket), Sean Gunn (Rocket) Vin Diesel (Groot), Karen Gillan (Nebula), Pom Klementieff (Mantis), Sean Gunn (Kraglin), Tessa Thompson (Valkyrie), Tom Hiddleston (Loki), Samuel L.
