Uh oh. Coming off the back of all the positivity surrounding Wonder Woman, there’s some possibly troubling news coming out of the DCEU camp. It was announced a few weeks ago that Zack Snyder was stepping down as director of Justice League for very personal issues with Joss Whedon taking over the reshoots. Warner Bros. at the time stated that these were standard reshoots and nothing major, and that Whedon would be doing little more that filling in for Snyder. However a new report from the usually reliable Batman-on-Film has said it could be more significant than that. The site claims the reshoots will tremendously affect the final movie, and could last up to three whole months. Read more here.
COCO POSTER
Disney/Pixar’s latest flick Coco got a new poster yesterday, which you can check out here (UPDATE: You can also watch the new trailer here).
The Netflix adaptation of Death Note has come under fire as of late, getting the same complaints from film-lovers that plagued Ghost in the Shell earlier this year. Fans of the anime have taken to Twitter to criticise director Adam Wingard, claiming his remake removes the Japanese element of the series by setting it in America with mostly white actors. Wingard responded on Twitter saying, “There is no conspiracy to remove Japanese culture from Death Note. Its [sic] a fresh version of the story set in Seattle. Also see The Departed.” Read more here.

SPIDER-MAN: POSITIVE REACTIONS
It’s not just Wonder Woman getting all the good superhero press at the moment, as Sony’s Spider-Man: Homecoming appears to get getting great reactions from early test screenings. Cameo star Robert Downey Jr. said via Facebook Live, “This Homecoming thing turned out very well… People have been starting early screenings of Spider-Man: Homecoming, and they say it’s absolutely a 10 out of 10. I certainly enjoyed participating in it, and I think this will be one of the big Summer hits.” Read more here.
HELLBOY BEGINS (AGAIN)
It was announced in May that the Hellboy series was getting another live-action treatment via Neil Marshal with Stranger Things‘ David Harbour, and the star took to Instagram yesterday to share a behind-the-scenes image of him being fitted for Hellboy’s Right Hand of Doom. Check it out here.
