The man behind Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’s Darth Vader is set to have a role in the untitled Han Solo spinoff.
Spencer Wilding was the actor behind some of Rogue One’s most talked about and frightening scenes, taking on the role of Darth Vader in the movie. And according to reports, he set to join the Star Wars universe once more in an unspecified role.
The actor was supposed to appear at Fandom Fest in Kentucky but according to Jedi News, the convention updated their website, explaining, “Spencer Wilding will be unable to attend as he will be filming the newest film in the Star Wars Universe. Spencer will be coming back next year.”
The only film in the Star Wars universe currently in production is the Han Solo movie, which would indicate Wilding’s involvement in that particular picture.
Does this mean Vader will be making an appearance in Han Solo? Not necessarily, but we can always hope that the iconic villain will rear his head once more.
